About Us

The Directorate of Morale, Welfare and Recreation (DMWR) is responsible for Soldier and Family programs and activities that range from child care and youth programs; to supporting Army families through Army Community Service operations; to the installation’s recreation programs which are focused on fitness and retention of Soldiers.  Many of these services are provided to Soldiers and their families at little or no cost.  Additionally, funding for Soldiers’ Unit Funds comes directly from DMWR.  Proceeds from the Above the Best BBQ and Music Festival will go to support the programs that have annual budgeting shortfalls.

All proceeds support those who protect and defend America's freedom, through Army MWR.
